NASA’s TIMED Mission Extended for Future Studies
NASAÂ extended the TIMED mission for another three years of operations and data analysis beginning in January 2004. This will be followed by an additional year of data analysis in 2007, to be conducted after orbital operations are completed.

APL’s Mars Imager Marks Successful Design Review
A powerful imager that will seek traces of past water on the Red Planet reached a key milestone this month when the team developing the Compact Reconnaissance Imaging Spectrometer for Mars — or CRISM — successfully completed its Critical Design Review.
