New Communication Technologies to be Showcased at ÃØÃÜÖ±²¥ Applied Physics Laboratory

What’s new in communication technologies — from wireless to fiber optics to quantum computing — will be demonstrated Thursday, Sept. 4 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The ÃØÃÜÖ±²¥ University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL), Laurel, Md.

The event, Applications for New Communications Technology: Innovation and Imagination, is being hosted by APL and the Maryland Technology Development Corp. (TEDCO) and is open to entrepreneurs and businesses interested in licensing emerging technologies.

APL researchers will demonstrate 13 technologies that have been developed at the Laboratory and are ready for commercialization while representatives from APL and TEDCO will present information on the technology transfer process and funding programs.

The event will be held in APL’s Kossiakoff Center, on Pond Road - the first right turn onto the campus from ÃØÃÜÖ±²¥ Road when traveling from Rt. 29.
