BioDr. Griffin Milsap is a senior staff researcher whose research interests include developing novel, noninvasive electrophysiological and optical neural recording modalities, operationalizing existing brain–computer interface (BCI) technology, developing speech BCI approaches for locked-in syndrome using electrocorticography, and using mixed reality to augment and support all of the above. He also mentors students and teaches classes in BCI approaches through the ÃØÃÜÖ±²¥ University Engineering for Professionals program. Additional areas of expertise include computational neuroscience and neural modeling, human–AI teaming, human–machine teaming and interaction, and intelligent systems.
