SOSC 223
Physical Landscapes: formation and function
Course overview
You¡¯ll witness how the land was formed by analysing geomorphological concepts and processes, the influence of tectonism and climate on landform evolution, with an emphasis on fluvial and aeolian landforms.

What you will learn
After successfully completing this course, you¡¯ll be able to:
- Explain geomorphological concepts underpinning processes-landform relationships in terrestrial and coastal systems; and in natural hazards.
- Recognise, analyse, communicate and report ethically on landscapes and the processes driving their evolution and form.
- Discuss sustainability concepts as they relate to geomorphic constraints.
