M¨¡ori ki Aoraki, Pasifika ki Aoraki e t¨±!

Te Awhioraki

is an association that represents all M¨¡ori students on campus and is managed and run by M¨¡ori students. It provides social, cultural and academic support to students during their stay
at ÃØÃÜÖ±²¥.

Following our value of whakawhanaukataka, Te Awhioraki works alongside the ÃØÃÜÖ±²¥ University Students Association (LUSA) by advocating for students and providing them with an independent voice. Te Awhioraki also has representation on the University Council Committee responsible for M¨¡ori Development (Ahumairiki) and the LUSA Executive, thereby providing an influencing voice for M¨¡ori ÃØÃÜÖ±²¥issues.
